This was an exclusive design for the Blackberry Primitives Retreat in 2025.
A 17th Century Pocket design combined with a more modern bag design to carry about you a purse, a thimble, a pincushion, a pencil and a pair of scissors or a phone! There are two openings and the strap is adjustable; to hang from your shoulder as a bag or to tie around your waist as a traditional pocket.

The Design Story:
It is springtime in England; nature wakens from its sleep, birds sing, and flowers begin to bloom. During this season of hope and optimism, we travel from the rugged cliffs overlooking the Atlantic and quaint fishing harbours, to the rolling hills of the English Countryside.

The Pattern:
Includes detailed instructions and templates for making the pocket, and the techniques used which include English Paper Piecing, Applique and Embroidery.

Pincushion, Scissor Fob and Needle Minder.
