Beautiful Designs by Willow and Hare Stitching

Primitive Christmas Decorations; The Giving of Holly and Mistletoe

Each Hare is approx 4 inches in length.

These decorations are designed to go beautifully with The Holly, The Ivy & The Hare Quilt.

The Holly, The Ivy and The Hare Mini Quilt

This design was inspired by my love of the countryside, and collecting berries and foliage to make my Christmas wreath, one of my favourite past times, and very nostalgic.

Finished size 14 x 17 inches.

The Crow & The Hare in the Pumpkin Patch; Pincushion and Scissor Fob Needle Minder

The Crow sits proudly on the generous pumpkin pincushion holding his acorn, whilst the Hare runs around the spool through the Pumpkin Patch. The mini spell book scissor fob will mind your needles.

A whimsical, primitive design for Autumn and Halloween Stitching.

Meadow Notions Purse

This large notions purse will store all of your stitching essentials. The design takes you on a whimsical journey through the fields and hedgerows.

Finished size 12 x 5.5 inches.

Bluebell, Daisy and the Hare

This primitive design was inspired by the beauty of the bluebell woods in spring, and the promise of brighter days to come. It incorporates my love of cotton, linen and hand dyed wool, and techniques including hand appliqué, embroidery and English paper piecing.

Finished size 21 x 16 inches.

Rosehips Mini Quilt

Rosehips Mini Quilt

This design was inspired by my autumnal and winter country walks, and the quietness and resting of these seasons. It is a time to see the beautiful architecture of seed heads that are in abundance, and the deep redness of the Rosehips against the paleness of the cooler skies.  The paper piecing was inspired by the Jane Austen coverlet.

Finished size 19.5 x 20 inches.

Hand Dyed Woven Wool

Hand dyed woven wool packs for the quilt or individual Fat Sixteenths (approx 9 x 11 inches)  are now available to purchase in my Etsy shop.

I use the wool for my wool applique pieces in my designs. This high quality, hand dyed wool is made by Tonja of Blackberry Primitives in America. These textiles are dyed by hand,  lending to the creative process and variegation of the colour throughout the finished product.
